*deep breath* mmmmmmm

i love the smell of gunpowder in the morning, smells like… smells like victory.

the gun is an exception, weaponry is an exception and really, i cant and shouldnt have to explain the logistical reality of why it is in a category of its own. Let me see if i can restate my argument, because its not really about mandatory gun ownership, that is merely a convenient model: a free republic cannot survive without being made up of vigilant people with a noble culture, the practice of training in self defense with weapons is fundamental to the principle of individual sovereignty – indeed, so long as one individual in our society is at the mercy of another, we are all at the mercy of anyone who slips through the cracks.people disagreed with me when i said you could seal up the cracks with intelligence and foresight and they continue to laugh when i tell them that the only other option is to make sure NO ONE SLIPS.
