so many mad scientists today and companies/governments lining up to throw money at them, when the previous generation feared the advent of nuclear weapons they had no idea what was coming next, i think id rather take my chances with nuclear detente than GMO produce.

The FDA has become a clearing house for the very worst elements of the overall configuration, as a regulator, doing more to protect those who should be punished, while destroying policy-wise any little guy who wants to try his hand in the game.

A novice could tell you the game is rigged and while the implications of this story may seem diminishable over time it raises very fundamental questions about the nature of clinical trials in general from an operational/methodological standpoint – the most disconcerting aspect of which to me is how readily people accept the dictates of “experts” while ignoring all other data.
