Journal

You can find many case histories which mirror those of the german people circa 1930.

For it is not the authenticity of the claims made by the article, nor the validity of its assertions which should pique your curiosity, no, it is the lingering probability and available references from the near historical record of programs like rex 84. We imprisoned Japanese citizens in internment camps during WW2, did that magically not happen? We run a private, for profit prison industrial complex in this country so vast that it dwarfs the prison populations of other western countries, is that not happening?

One commenter even said “break out the tin foil hats”, is that what has become of reasoned debate in this country? A sort of high school popularity contest but for ideas? Detractors often do no critical analysis and yet are quite confident that there is nothing to be worried about. And I am not speaking of just people who thumbed this shit down on SU, my analysis here I am applying in the widest possible context to the entirety of the american electorate.

I see in the countenances of those who throw around epithets at issues like this a sort of self-deception and complete rejection of history. These are not just bad students of human history, they truly are the bedrock of tyranny, for tyranny cannot ever come to fruition amongst a vigilant populace.
